Set Goals

Setting goals is important to all Business plans, and PlanHQ lets you created them quickly and simply, adding a description, due date and who is responsible for making it happen. You are also able to add private goals which are only visible to some members of your team.

The next important step is to decide what actions need to be done to complete each goal. This is where PlanHQ’s Goal Action Plan comes in: each goal is assigned a due date, person responsible and a description of what it entails.

Once you have set a bunch of goals, you can easily view and reorganise your schedule by dragging them between days, weeks, months and years in your calender.

 

Get a Team

It is hard to achieve your business plan on your own, so PlanHQ lets you invite team members, advisors and boards members into your plan. You can add information into their profile, such as position, telephone and website.

Team members can have one of three roles in your company, which have different access to information in your plan. Managers have unrestricted access to company information and can create and view all private goals. Staff members are unable to create private goals and can only view those which they are given access to. Their financial access can be set to summary or none. Board Members/Advisors can access the same information as Managers. They are unable to edit the plan but can be sent email updates.

 

Set Financial Targets

PlanHQ allows you to set detailed financial targets against different areas of your business, such as sales, marketing, product and orgization. You can quickly add line items to each business area in a spreadsheet, personalizing your financial information, and then input your projected budgets/sales for each. This information is then displayed in simple graph and key indicators for the past 6 months.

Write your Plan

Once you have set your goals and financial targets, the finishing touches to your plan can be written in PlanHQ’s Our Plan section. Filter your plan by different business areas and write a plan strategy for each. You can also view your plan for both short and long term time periods, from the next month to the next 3 years.

Your plans can be printed or downloaded as a .DOC, .PDF or .ODT file for distribution.
